Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid synthesized in the body from the amino acid phenylalanine. It is a precursor from which the body makes dopamine, which is then converted to norepinephrine and then to epinephrine. This formula provides 1,200 mg of L-tyrosine, along with vitamin C for its role as a cofactor in neurotransmitter production. Tyrosine is ideally taken on an empty stomach or 2 hours before a protein-containing meal to avoid competition with other amino acids for absorption.
Recommended Use: Take 2 capsules per day on an empty stomach or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
